I love the first photo. It's really nice, and I like the way you work with Ilford. It reminds me of my black & white days (that's a very long time ago). I also used Ilford, always.
The second photo seems blurred and maybe moved a bit. I guess it is intentional. One could see it as artistic :)

I agree with rick about both shots. the blur gave me a feeling as if it has been water painted :D!
and I loved the frame!
I prefer the second one, it has a genuine feeling I like a lot.
The first one is pretty neat.
Thanks everybody; to be honest, the blur on the 2nd photo wasn't deliberate, but it seems to work, somehow ^_^;;
As for the frame, it is one of the standard frames included in Photoshop Elements 5.0. I think they do go pretty well with b/w photos.
