Taishoike pond, Kamikochi, Japan

Taishoike Pond was formed in 1915, when an eruption of the nearby volcano Yakedake dammed off the Azusa River. The decayed trees standing in the pond and the fog give an eery feeling especially fitting for tonight, Hallowe'en.

Phrasimahathat Temple (Wat Yai)

Phrasimahathat Temple (Wat Yai) is one of the royal temples in Thailand. It is located on Budhabucha rd., Nai Maeung Tumbon by the east of Nan river in Phisanulok province, Thailand. Normally, local people call "Wat Yai" or "Wat Prasi". It is the center of Buddhist people for local people in Phisanulok provice and all people in Thailand. People every part of Thailand come to the temple in order to worship the principle image of Buddha is called "Pra Budhachinnaraj" or "Loung Phor Yai" which is the most beautiful image of Buddha in Thailand. Moreover there are many images Buddha (Pra) which Thai people always respect too in the temple.

Note: "Pra" in Thai means an image of buddha or monk.

A spiral staircase taken with my 10 mm lens, it gives a nice architectural shoot to my mind and it also turns out to be very practical for wheelchairs.

Crayola

The Village Weaver

The Village Weaver, is a beautiful yellow bird. The female Weaver almost has the same shape and color of a sparrow except it has yellow mixed into its plumage. It’s called Weaver Bird because it literally weaves a nest out of palm tree leaves, quite something to see.
