Waking up early allows you to enjoy Venice without the tourists that crowd St. Mark Square everyday. The above photos I took around 6:30AM, just off St. Mark Square, note the wooden platforms against the acquas altas which flood this area of Venice several times a year. ^_^;;

Ah beautiful Venice :D
I supposed it was quickly crowded by the tourists. I've been there and took several shots with a poor Canon A75, maybe gonna upload one of them in here. The alta aqua is very impressive and is a business for the guys who sell many plastic boots to the tourists. Good to see a good black and white photo of St Mark without the hord ahah.
